FAQs

Does the Large Camping Bag fit under a caravan bed? Only if your bed clearance is higher than 40cm. Many caravan beds sit lower than this, which means the Large Bag will not fit underneath. For lower beds and camping stretchers, the CamPaq Under Bed Storage Bag is designed specifically for that purpose.

Is the Large Bag suitable for a solo traveller? Most solo travellers find the Large Bag too big for personal use. The Medium Bag or Toiletry Bag are better suited for individual packing.

How many Large Bags does a family need? Most families use one Large Bag for shared gear and one Medium Bag per person for individual clothing. For couples, one Large Bag is usually enough for all shared items.

Where does the Large Bag work best? The Large Bag is ideal for the boot of a 4WD, the back of a ute or inside a camper trailer. At 101 litres it handles the bulky shared gear that would otherwise spread across multiple bags.

How do you clean the Large Camping Bag? For light dirt, wipe down with a damp cloth. If the bag gets really muddy or dirty, wash it out with warm water and dishwashing liquid using a non-scratch cloth, then rinse or hose out thoroughly. Peg it by the handles on the line to dry and speed things up with a hairdryer if you wish.

Is the Large Bag waterproof? The PVC is water-resistant and wipeable, not fully waterproof. Contents are well protected from condensation, light rain and general camping conditions.

Does the Large Bag hold its shape when not fully packed? The bag compresses when partially full rather than sitting rigid and half-empty. When completely empty it flattens out entirely for easy storage between trips.
